About test mode and future pricing
HapaSasa is currently free to use while we test and improve the platform. Some features may become premium in the future. Any applicable charges will be communicated before they take effect.
Please read these terms carefully before using HapaSasa. They apply to visitors, buyers, sellers, and other platform users.
1. Use of the Platform
HapaSasa is a location-aware marketplace that helps users discover products, services, shops, and sellers around them. You agree to use the platform responsibly, lawfully, and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
2. Test Mode and Pricing
HapaSasa is currently operating in test mode and is free to use. During this period, users can explore and use the available features without a platform usage fee. As HapaSasa develops, some features or services may become premium or require payment in the future. We will communicate applicable charges and relevant terms before introducing them. Any future premium features will be subject to the pricing and conditions communicated at that time.
3. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information they provide. Sellers must ensure that product listings, prices, descriptions, availability, business details, and other information are accurate and not misleading. Users must keep their account credentials secure and must not misuse another person's account.
4. Location-Based Services and Privacy
HapaSasa can use location information to help users discover nearby shops, products, and services. Sharing your device location is optional, although some location-based features may work better when location access is enabled. You may still browse available listings without granting location permission. The collection and use of personal information are also subject to our Privacy Policy.
5. Buyer and Seller Transactions
HapaSasa helps buyers and sellers discover and communicate with one another. Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular service, HapaSasa does not collect or hold payments for goods on behalf of buyers or sellers. Buyers and sellers are responsible for agreeing directly on payment, delivery, collection, reservations, refunds, and other transaction arrangements. Users should verify products, prices, seller details, and transaction terms before proceeding.
6. Prohibited Activities
You must not use HapaSasa for unlawful activities, fraud, scams, misleading listings, harassment, unauthorized access, distribution of harmful content, or any activity that interferes with the security or proper operation of the platform. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users and the platform.
7. Platform Availability and Changes
HapaSasa is under development and testing. Features, functionality, and services may be changed, temporarily unavailable, added, or discontinued as the platform improves. We aim to keep the platform reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.
8. Accounts and Access
You must provide truthful information when registering and using account-based features. You are responsible for activities carried out through your account and should notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. We may take reasonable steps to protect the platform, enforce these terms, and address misuse.
9. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, HapaSasa is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, availability, or delivery of products and services offered by independent sellers, or for disputes arising directly between buyers and sellers. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions as HapaSasa evolves. Updated terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date where appropriate. If a change materially affects users, including the introduction of paid features, we will take reasonable steps to communicate it before it applies. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
